When do we have Art Day classes?
Whenever you like! We recommend having Art Day once a week, at the day and time of your choice. All Art Day classes are pre-recorded, so you can watch them whenever is most convenient for you!

How long do Art Day classes last?
Art Day class lengths vary. On average, though, the Fun Crayon Resist course classes are around 20 minutes; the Art Day Club Jr classes are about 25 minutes and the Art Day Club classes are about an hour. Simply start the Art Day class video and play it until the end. You don’t have to worry about teaching the art class, Jessica teaches the art class! The student art-making time is included in each video, Art Day students draw and paint along with Jessica, in real time! The end of the video is the end of the Art Day class.

What if my child needs more time to finish the work for that day’s Art Day class?
No problem! Since all Art Day classes are pre-recorded, students can pause, rewind and rewatch, if they like. Over time, children may adapt to the length of time allotted for the art-making time and may naturally start to pace their work as they complete more Art Day classes.

How long does it take to complete one Art Day project?
One class. Occasionally two classes, like if we need to wait for some paint to dry before we can finish the project.

My child has never had art classes before, is it okay for my child to take Art Day classes?
Yes! Jessica’s extensive teaching background helps her meet children where they are, in their artistic journey.

Art Day classes look so fun, can I do the Art Day classes with my children?
Yes, that's wonderful! As for licensing, anyone living in the same house can use a purchased Art Day class, so, please feel free to do Art Day classes with your children.

Is Art Day a good fit for kids who are artistically gifted, intellectually gifted, 2e, have learning differences, or special needs?
We welcome families with children who are artistically gifted, intellectually gifted, 2e, have learning differences, or special needs at Art Day. Jessica has vast experience teaching children with a variety of differences, such as those listed here. Jessica uses a variety of teaching methods to help best teach Art to all children.
