FAQ

  • Who is this for?

Art Day Club is expertly designed specifically for homeschooled kids from Elementary to High School, by a professional artist and formerly certified art teacher who is also a veteran homeschooling mom. Because young children are naturally creative, this program focuses on mastering foundational art techniques alongside the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. We provide the professional tools and framework your child needs to unlock a lifetime of artistic success and creative confidence in every piece they create. Foundations is for ages 5-10, Studio is for ages 11-14 and Mastery is for ages 15-18.

  • When do we have Art Day classes?

Whenever fits your life best! While we recommend scheduling Art Day once a week to build consistent creative habits, the choice is entirely yours. All Art Day Studio classes are available on-demand and pre-recorded, giving your family the ultimate flexibility to learn, pause, and play whenever it is most convenient for your schedule.

  • How long is each class?

Real-Time Instruction, Zero Prep Required: Every Art Day lesson is a comprehensive, start-to-finish experience. Rather than watching a tutorial and working later, your student will paint and draw alongside Jessica in real-time. Efficient & Flexible: Lessons average 30 minutes, with a range of 20–60 minutes depending on the project. Complete Lessons: Because the art-making time is built right into the video, there is no extra "homework"—when the video is done, the Art Day class is done!

  • What materials are needed?

Construction paper, watercolor paint, tempera paint (or project paint), crayons, pencil, glue, tape, scissors...regular materials you probably already have at home!

  • Art Day classes look so fun, can I do the Art Day classes with my children?

Absolutely! As far as licensing, everyone in your immediate household is welcome to use your Art Day enrollment. We highly encourage parents to create alongside their children—it’s a wonderful way to bond and model creative confidence together!

  • Is Art Day a good fit for kids who are artistically gifted, intellectually gifted, 2e, have learning differences, or special needs?

Yes, absolutely! We believe art is a universal language, and we intentionally welcome children who are artistically gifted, intellectually gifted, 2e, or have learning differences and special needs. As a formerly certified educator with vast experience teaching diverse learners, Miss Jessica utilizes multi-sensory teaching methods designed to engage and support every child’s unique needs. Art Day Club Studio provides a safe, encouraging, and flexible environment where every student can thrive, express themselves, and find success in their creative journey.
